Laboratory - Freezing Point Depression

• Solvent is stearic acid (octadecanoic acid)

• C18H36O2

• Weigh sample of stearic acid

• Heat until completely melted

• Cool and record temperature

• Add known mass of unknown to SA

• Heat and cool again
