Test your knowledge observe the following pictures.   Using the criteria for a rock , mineral or other decide which substances are minerals, which are rocks and which are something other than a rock or mineral.   Remember a mineral must meet all five statements. You may use the one distinctive area of color is one mineral test.   Sherbet looking blend colors count as one mineral.
ROCKS:
Most rocks are aggregates - made of two or more minerals

MINERAL:
Minerals are naturally occurring inorganic homogeneous solids with definite physical and chemical properties (not artificial, never alive, made of crystals with a single chemical formula)

OTHER
No crystals, not a solid.   Artificial or organic
