You shall not try to relive yesterday for good or ill, it is forever gone. Concentrate on what is happening in your life and be happy now! |
I am interested and committed to expanding the knowledge of global and international issues to students in this country. Towards this objective I enrolled in the Ph.D. Program in Higher Education Administration. My goal is to continue my research in this area as well as continue to actively work with teachers and students throughout this area. As part of my efforts, I co-founded and co-direct the Center for Global Education at Seton Hall University. The primary mission of the Center is to advance knowledge of global issues, build skills and develop dispositions among Seton Hall students, elementary and secondary students with whom they work in partner schools as well as both domestic and international educators in order to promote global civic competence. Without the benefit of high quality educational experiences to support this learning, American students may not be ready to meet the challenges ahead. The Center generates curriculum materials and research that will be useful in assisting educators in the United States, and internationally, in identifying content and methodology to advance the aims of global education. In addition, the model of collaboration, both within the university and with our partner schools (domestic and international), is a valuable exemplar. For more information on the Center, please visit our website at http://education.shu.edu/academicprograms/center/index.html.
