AMERICANS FOR INFORMED DEMOCRACY GLOBAL EDUCATION - November 2006

Coordinated and hosted a one-day conference at Seton Hall University on bringing global issues into the United States education system.  The conference brought together educators and university students preparing to be teachers, for a one day of workshops and discussions designed to equip participants with the tools to bring global awareness to K-12 classrooms. 

 UNITED NATIONS INTENSIVE STUDY PROGRAM, New York, NY – May 2004

Attended seminars at the United Nations led by U.N. officials and representatives of governments and civil society on a wide range of global issues currently on the U.N. agenda.

EUROPEAN UNION STUDY TOUR, Luxembourg, France and Germany, May – June 2005

Attended seminars at the European Union (EU) institutions; EU Investment Bank, EU Parliament, EU Commission, EU Court of Auditors, Council of Europe, European Court of Human Rights and EU Court of Justice.  Visited the Palace and met with His Royal Highness Henri Grand Duke of Luxembourg.  Visited the U.S. Embassy and met with Peter Terpeluk, JR. Ambassador of The United States of America to The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
