| The two scores will be added together to constitute your grade for your "Final". Refer to the course syllabus to verify how much weight "The Final" has on your semester grade. | 
THE WRITTEN TEST
This part of the Final will be done SECOND. (i.e. It takes up the last 50-70 minutes of the session)
-- Test Format will be:
in the classroom
two options: done via paper(I'll supply) & pen /OR/ you can answer the questions on your laptops & e-mail them to me before you leave the room
consisting primarily of "Short" Answer-type questions (1-2 sentences )
there may also be multiple choice, definitions &/or brief essay-type questions (i.e. one paragraph long answers)
As always, be prepared to answer the questions IN YOUR OWN WORDS -- not simply repeating/memorizing the text's words.
In addition, your answers will need to be concrete & specific
