GUIDELINES ABOUT THE ORAL COMM. Online "CHECKUP" Quizzes

-N.B. : These are compilation quizzes from your Professor. The are not the same thing as the one-per-chapter quizzes within MindTap that are assigned as classwork/homework .
-Below are general overviews of the probable content for each quiz. HOWEVER, you will find this semester's up-to-date quiz info, via the announcement in Blackboard that appears whenever a "Compilation Quiz" is posted ( approximately 3-4 times a semester).
-Always be prepared to answer these quiz questions IN YOUR OWN WORDS -- not by repeating/memorizing the textbook's words.

in the slide shows, etc.], this quiz will emphasize the information
and relevant notes & activities
pertaining to Chapters 1,
2,
& Communication Apprehension(anxiety)
& the Voice slide show.
There will also be questions based on some of the guidelines & details mentioned
in the syllabus.

the deadline had passed. However, if you think you'd like to
ensure the ability to use it for studying for
future tests, you should print out your scored quiz as backup.

Although you are responsible for all of the material covered so far --in text , in notes, in slide shows, the emphasis will be on the information & related notes/activities primarily pertaining to Chapters
4, 15, 16, & notes on the Human Voice . There will also be some general questions on Speech Construction/Organization from Chap 12 & 13. It is recommended that you review these materials before taking the quiz.
As before, you can only take this quiz once but you can take as long as you want to complete it.
