GUIDELINES & PRESENTATION SCHEDULE -

CLICK HERE TO GO DIRECTLY TO THE PRESENTATION SCHEDULE

{i.e. "sharing your  findings from your  various contracted  research projects & papers into the dynamics of human communication"}

* Each individual  will receive  7-9   minutes to present to the class.

*All presentations should make use of effective Oral Presentation techniques [as you learned in COST1600]. This means you should be focused, prepared & rehearsed, and  you will be stopped if you go overtime.

*If you want to use any visual aids besides a computer projector or a VHS/DVD- TV, be sure to let me know ASAP.

Your presentation can take any one of these 3 approaches:

> Version A{i.e.things you learned}: To discuss the 1-2 most important/striking/significant/useful things you learned via doing your contracted investigative projects this semester. Your discussion of these general INSIGHTS into human communication should be supported with details from the project(s) & by cross referencing with findings discussed in the text.   You may even want to revisit something you created earlier in the semester (e.g. your shield )

 > Version B {i.e.specific projects}: To discuss 1-2 of your specific projects. I would expect that you would choose to share those which gave you the most INSIGHT and/or personal growth.

 >Version C {i.e.background concepts}:   To discuss 1-2 of the background concepts underlying one particular project [ex: Project #1 is built upon Perception & Self-Concept, Project #2 is built upon Systems Theory+Family Communication, etc]. You would also need to comment on how your findings did (or didn’t) support what the underlying concept would have led you to expect.
