EXTRA CREDIT POLICY

    Extra credit is given for attendance at History Department movies, lectures, and trips that are announced in class and pre-approved.  For course specific extra credit opportunities see course syllabus.

    To obtain extra credit you must submitted a typewritten report of 1-2 pages.  Describe the event you attended and place you visited, and they state whether this experience was worth while.  What did you learn from it?

    Extra credit consists of 1/2 grade added to the lowest grade in the course whether on a paper or an exam.

    There is a limited of 4 extra credits per course per semester.

    All extra credit reports must be handed by the last class of the semester, OR the date specified on the syllabus -- whichever is earlier.  Reports submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
