Collection Development Department

Acquisitions/Serials Units


The Collection Development Department of the University Libraries consists of Acquisitions and Serials Units. Acquisitions Unit is responsible for ordering books, electronic items, maintaining the fiscal records for all funds and creating records in Voyager System. Serials unit is responsible for receiving and distribution of mail, maintenance of journals subscriptions, bindery of journals and graduate thesis and acceptance of gift books.  Please direct inquiries concerning requests for purchase of library materials to the Acquisitions Unit and questions regarding journal subscriptions, thesis binding & gifts to Serials Unit.

Location: Collection Development Department is located in Technical Services area of the University Library on the 2nd floor of the Walsh Building. Business hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday. We are closed on University holidays.
