Statistical Analysis
A Pearson chi-square test was performed to determine whether the differences between the high school instructors' responses and the college instructors' responses were statistically significant. All differences below the .05 level were considered significant, as is usual in survey work of this sort. The size of the difference was not calculated. Rather, the charts give a visual sense of the difference. Charts that illustrate statistically significant differences between high school and college instructors have an asterisk after them.
