CLASS SIZE EFFECT ON STUDENTS WITH LOW SATs AND GPAs
Students with low SATs and GPAs benefit most significantly from smaller class size (Scheck, Kinicki, and Webster) and, more generally, "pupils with lower academic abilities tend to benefit more from smaller classes than do pupils with average ability" (Robinson and Witte qtd in Finn and Voekl 771).
