Essay I

· In essay one I had to fix my problem about going off of the topic too much.

· Having problems with piecing together my essay, some parts belong to the beginning that are at the end and vice versa

· Many problems such as comma splices, needing a transition, and having fragment

Essay II

· Be careful of making comma splices.

    "I went to practices, I had my fun."  Give both correct and
    "I went to practices. I had my fun." 
incorrect versions of a sentence-level problem.

· Detail is good, bring the reader in the story, have them right in the center, don't just drag on the details, be specific.  Giving advice to himself

· During the climax of my stories, that is where detail is key.

    Climax in essay II did have detail but could have been better.

        "I walked out on to the wet mat, shaking."  Pointing out something he did well

· Fewer words, and write as you would talk.

· Still had problems with keeping parts in order, but did fix with final draft

Essay III

· Getting better with staying on topic.  Noticing improvement

· Mainly only having grammatical problems

· Still trying to keep essay in part order.

Essay III, Final

· After 1st draft improvements are made, but from 2nd draft to final, significant problems are fixed with the writing center.

· Thesaurus is key, less talky, more academic.

· Getting better with transition

· Draw a line of how specific to be.

· Still have to be careful with sentence structure, and punctuation.

· "There is one activity, that is still questionable about being a sport, that is coed, and that is cheerleading."  Needed to talk about why this was questionable.  Quoting his own essay to make clear exactly what the problem is 

· Introductions are getting considerably better.

Essay IV

· Noticing that I began to improve on some points of making my essay more clear in what I want to say, but not every part of the essay is clear  Noticing improvement

· Parts out of order. Have to keep parts in their order and put them in their respective places.

· Added the length needed to essay. Expanded on topics, that were vague or left without examples.

· Started one idea--skipped to another too soon
