Hackensack Mayor Jack Zisa and the Supt. from Seoul, So. Korea exchange gifts with one another.

The 16 member administrative delegation from Seoul Metropolitan School District, So. Korea in front of Jackson Ave School - April 2004. [They had a team research American schools on the Internet for 6 weeks.  Then they selected 3 schools in our country to visit that they believed represented excellence, esp. in Science, Math & technology, we were one of the 3.]  This was particularly exciting as it was our first year having a web site.  It gives new meaning and appreciation for the www - world wide web.]


There was a wonderful interchange of ideas, information and various gifts between Jackson Ave School and Seoul Metropolitan Schools of So. Korea.  (Here I am with our visitors, above left.)


We work hard - we play hard.  (Pictured above, left to right Ms. Rios - our secretary,  Principal Bob Corrado, his daughter Nicole & I dressed in the theme of 101 Dalmatians.  He is Cruella DeVille and I am the Dog Catcher.)

My oldest son Joshua (an Electronics Field Engineer with ID Systems) and my Mom - May 2004

My daughter Tara, a sophomore

My daughter Holly, a senior in high school taking Honors English & Spanish, active in Journalism.- Aug. 2004 [On left day to day, on rgt prom night.]

On Anthony's 1st day of school Mom, Dad & Grandma' (me) were there to see him off.  It was a great 1st day for him, October 5, 2005.

Beautiful Hatcher's Pass, between Willow and Palmer, Ak. is considered Gold Rush country.  In 1896 placer gold was 1st discovered in Willow Creek.  Robert Hatcher staked the 1st hard rock claim in 1906.  Many rushing mountain streams and creeks are in this area where families & tourists still pan for gold & pick berries for fun.

Fireweed - a native Alaskan wildflower:  The 1st flower to blossom after a fire.  Also, beckons winter after the last magenta blossom blooms the 1st snowfall and 6 mos. of winter are soon to follow.
