Reponse to Dat Nuoc "Earth & Water"

From Anh, on Thu, 18 Dec 1997 01:13:14 GMT (in response to: Dat Nouc Earth And Water)

* "Dat Nuoc" is not "Earth & Water". The Vietnamese say "DAT NUOC CHUNG TA" = "OUR BELOVED COUNTRY". The word "DAT NUOC" was used since
a country is always built on land, and it needs water to survive. Other word could be used, such as "GIANG SON" (means River & Mountain),
"NUOC NHA" (means Water & House), etc..
* Ho chi Minh was not the only one who fought against the French. In fact he was the one who went behind the other nationalist groups
when needed, then stabbed at their backs. He was a coward murderer from the beginning.
* The so-called struggles was not against the American, but between the two parts of Vietnam. Each part asked for help from different
countries. The South just ran out of "ammunition" and stopped fighting. It was not considered a surrender but a hold for life-saving.
Just imagine that Saigon would look like Saravejo in Bosnia if the South still fought. How many people would die??? How the city
itself would stand as it is now???
