Different

Like Mr. Hoffman, I too was in Vietnam during the period from 1969 -1970. I found that land and people very different from what the press told me. The land was different from what I was told. I found it to be very beautiful. From the coastal plains to the hills around DaNang. The beach in DaNang is more beautiful than the ones that I visited in Hawaii.

The people had very little. I found them to be a friendly, shy, industrious people. I am very impressed with every person that I met there.

Someday I will return with my wife. I want her to experience that wonderful place.

I did see combat, I did see death, I did experience sorrow. But unlike many people that went there, the bad does not over shadow all the wonderful times and people that I met.

I hope and pray your project underlines all the good that was there. The bad has been blown out of propotion.
