...why we're here?

From joe nguyen, on Thu, 21 Aug 1997 17:58:24 GMT (in response to: Question?)

Sometimes what you wish you can't get! that's what lots of VN people face in reality. You always want to live and breath the wind of liberty (truly freedom). Our country is truly beautiful, but we don't have freedom of religion, press, relocation, and many more.. So, please tell me, if you can live under those pressure. Further, many of our parents were former officers whose children hardly have opportunity to seek higher education (it's getting better now, but still some restrictions), or careers. For me, I really really want to go back and live there, but I doubt that I would have trouble facing some ridiculous regulations (what I called NO FREEDOM). My village has a beautiful view of mountains and sea, it's a "Heaven on Earth". Tell me if you want to go visiting, I'm happy to guide you (seriously). My friend, American and young Vietnamese, you need to go there to see for yourselves and live to understand what I tell you. Cheers. -- joe nguyen
