A Clouded Beauty

I, as an American Soldier in Vietnam, saw two worlds; one, the ugly face of war, the other, a beautiful country who's people had a myriad of ancient traditions. I, too, hope to return to Vietnam now that the face of war is gone. I wish to visit the friendly people, view the ancient shrines, and retrieve that part of me which remains there. Perhaps, I shall.
