Vietnam Today

My father was a vietnam vetern, who not only lost his arm, but lost his sanity. He regained his sanity, but never again will he see the arm, that was meant to throw baseballs in a major league game. I am a twenty six year old female, who has had to live with the mental fustration of my fathers history. This war not only affected a previous generation, it has affected mine....The children of the millenium. I will be traveling Vietnam this summer, uh I don't feel like writting, but thought I would make a contribution to this web-page. Hopefully America will not make the same mistake twice. In a sense we could, here we are fighting over the oil in the middle east, that will be depleted in 40 years or less. I really never thought the human race was so ingnorant until now. We have the technology to make changes, solar, wind, biomass fuels, and here we are, at the brink of distruction, because we are to spoiled and fixed to make a change. Well, I plan on making some changes. Once I visit Nam in the summer, I beleive this will help me decide my major, so I can make a difference, so we can have a least a bit of peace in our lives. For chaos some know all to well.
