It was the attack on June 7th 1969.I remember it because it happened two days before my 22nd birthday. I was working in front of the post office,when a 107 exploded right across the street. Actually two men were killed in that attack. The other guy was in the building that was to the southwest of the post office. The entire wall was blowen out over there. The next day I asked someone at the barracks about the guy that I saw get hit and I was told that he had been killed. At that time I was told his name and that he was the drummer for Archie Bell and the drells. I didn't retain his name at that time. I'm glad you knew his name.
