Phan Rang May 67 may 68

From Edward Goodfield, on Sun, 17 Sep 2000 01:22:11 GMT (in response to: We shut the doors...)

I was an c123 mechanic with the 309th acs (later to be TAS) Had a lot of memories come back to me looking at all the phan rang links on the web. I wept at one time thinking we were a forgoton bunch of USAF ground mech's. Yes it was and wasn't a hell hole of heat and monsoon weather, but we all pulled through it. If any one out there was stationed there at the time I was please e-mail and say HI. I am now retired and also a vet of the gulf war too. Changed to fighters, got out the cargo plane's. GOD BLESS you all. M/sgt. E. Goodfield. see my email above.
