As a 2nd Lt, I deparded CONUS December 30th 1968, assigned to the 309th Air Commando Squadron @ Phan Rang. In 1969, our unit was renamed the 309th Special Operations Squadron. While living in Phan Rang, I was assigned to Sinapore 626. Our Hooch was the site of the "Dinner Club". Lots of memories, most were good.
