LST trip

I was also on the LST going to Phan Rang. I was the senior medic Sp5 later Sp6 with the Bn. I arrived at Ft Leonard Wood about 6 mo prior to our deployment to RVN. I stayed in the Army for 30+ yrs retiring as a Physician Assistant, CW4. I can't say I had a good time, but as luck will have it few of the Bn guys got seriously hurt and no one was shot. I returned to RVN in 1968 and worked in a very busy emergency room in the 12 Evac. We treated 100-300 casualties a day. I will return to this site frequently and would like to hear from some of the original guys who were there.
