Served with the 8th TBS from 1967 to 1968 We loaded B57's We were right down the flight line from the Aussies. They had the same planes we had Every once in a while we'd go see them for parts Remember the Koreans coming into the chow hall now and then they had 4 50 cal guns mounted on their truck. Occasional day off we'd take the bus to the beach dodging the 'pot holes' in the road. Beautiful scenery Beautiful people.Bands playing at the airmens club Johnny cash songs.Mortar attacks would disrupt a card game game now and then. One night on the flight they walked some motars up towards us heard there were some deaths. Didn't like the military but had some good friends and it was a hell of an experience.
