I was also in the 435 MMS from Sep 69 to July 70. There was a bunch of us stationed at Da Nang and they moved us PCS to Phan Rang. I was on a load crew with SSgt Tom Clark, Mike Pobst and Gary Sharp. We were one of the "Lead Crews" on the night shift for several months. I was still in the AF in Feb '71 and got sent TDY to Guam with B-52s as part of the "Bulletshot" deployments near the end of the war. I stayed in the AF for another 20 years and retired in '91 as a Captain. I work for a DoD contractor in San Antonio, TX, working on the military's healthcare program - TRICARE. I am 50% VA disabled.
