Help finding missing person (Kim Boo Kil)

From Landon, on Wed, 23 Jul 2003 10:42:41 GMT (in response to: RMK-BRJ )

This is the all the information my friend has on his father he's never/seen/or met, anyone who could offer any help would be greatly appericated.

Mr. Kim Boo Kil was born in 1936. He came to Vietnam in 1965 to work for a U.S. construction company called R.M.K.; he worked in Saigon City, and Qui Nhou City, South Vietnam.

He was married to my mother from 1969 - March 1973 when he had to leave Vietnam because of his job. At that time my mother was eight months pregnant, and the airline would not allow her on the plane. Therefore, my mother had to stay in Vietnam until I was born.

Because of the communist government in South Vietnam my mother had lost contact with my father. In July of 1980 my family legally immigrated to Canada. During the trip my mother lost some of her baggage containing photographs of my father. At this time I was only seven years old.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could help me find my father Kim Boo Kil, for we have not had contact with him for over 30 years.

Thank you for all your help.

Yours truly,

Kim Phu Cuong Huynh "Joe"
