I was stationed at Cam Rahn Bay in "71". I remember there being two BIG explosions that year. One at the Army Site, and the other by Herky Hill. I was with the 39 ARRS at the time. Our barrecks were at the entrance to the complex. That one through me and my hooch (Jennings from Cincinatti) mate out of the bunks. I also knew of a guy named BORDEN who was TDY from the PI.
