In 68/69 we were building wonder shelters at Bien Hoa, 823rd, a small group of nickles were up to train from Cam Rahn. Two very distinct things stick in my mind. they kept stealing the long bolts and one night during a rocket attack a guy named Buddah, nickname, ran for a small bunker with a low doorway. He hit his forehead on the header. He was a rugged boy for sure..it backed him up a bit at which he lowered himself for another charge and went forward. In his journey probably stimulated by another rocket he forgot to get down low enough and hit the header again. This time he went down and a pair of arms pulled him in. probably wasn't funny at the time but I get a kick out of the memory
