Protest

Honor your heros

From Rachel Hoover, on Wed, 12 May 1999 17:53:00 GMT

We should honor the men and women who went through Hell in
Vietnam not critize them and make them out casts just because
you didn't believe in the reasons to fight. These men and
women are our nations only hope and they fought fearlessly in
a living hell where you couldn't even trust the children.
they watched family and friends being masacared by VC troops
that you would never be able to find in the jungle. Yet
when they came back the people who protested the war threw
bottles of piss at them instead of honoring them? I am only
17 years old and apologize to the soldiers for the way
poeple treated you and I am proud to say that America was
involved in Vietnam. So to all the soldiers who didn't get
welcomed back the way they should have from a humble heart
 I am so sorry.
