the best way to get help on the internet is to surf for it.  I tried "vietnam protests" and got several sites.  Other searches to try are "kent state massacre", "Chicago 7", and Ask Jeeves (a question based search engine).  Parents and grandparents are another good source, like me, they were alive when it was happening.  Happy surfing.
