How Old Am I?

I was born in 1948.

My father enlisted the day after Pearl Harbor, and was in the infantry for 16 years.

I wasn't a suck-up as a kid, and I learned to read early. And I read. Thus when it came "my turn" I knew better than be a sucker for a lie.

You got suckered by draft-evader John Wayne, and can't admit it. You went to Viet Nam to be a "hero"--and are pissed you aren't. You claim you acted "selflessly"--yet can't handle the humble anonymity that means; you _demand_ your ass be kissed for "sacrificing" by going to Viet Nam because you were too stupid to know better.

The asshole punk _is you_.

Get an education in morality and ethics. Or continue to be the moral bankrupt and ethical cripple you are.
