I haven't read every response here but I admire the honesty of the discussions. I agree, Vietnam Vets got the raw end of the deal and still are but, the overwhelming majority of those who protested were and are on their side. Support Our Troops - Bring Them Home!
Our government is who we need to be angry with, not each other. They use war as an excuse for grabbing money and power and they will fabricate reasons to get us to believe it is for the defense of freedom. They've done it before. Read history. They want us to fight amongst ourselves. Point your anger at them instead. Blind Patriotism is not patriotism at all. It is Nationalism. Our forefathers who bore our country were dissenters.
The first casualty of war is truth. Question Authority.
