Stand up and be counted

As a veteran of the war in Vietnam it astounds me that people are still villifying the men and women who had the courage to say no to this racist,illegal and immoral incursion into Vietnam.
If anything, these people should be given a badge of honor for refusing to become involved in a war that shamelessly murdered thousands of innocent people for the sake of american expansionism.
The war is over so let's put it behind us and do whatever it takes to insure that it never happens again.
For the record, I served as a combat medic with the 3/5 armored calvary, 9th infantry division.  I witnessed the horrors and illegalities of this travesty; Did you?
