Protest

Ideology . . .

From Joe N., on Fri, 10 Dec 1999 10:00:01 GMT (in response to: Ho had the gut to stand for what he believed.)

is the wall between us, whether "communist" or 'capitolist" or any other promoted. It is ideology which initiates conflict and division. Thinking for oneself is freedom from ideology. Joan Baez made that point repeatedly by rejecting ideology, regardless whether left or right.

And that is what most protesters did: rejected ideology/excuse and said, "Stop the war and bring our brothers home."
