Protest

Response

Vic, it's all well and good from where you set. But what about us that were being shot at. No we didn't really want to be there. Think about how demoralized we were to see an American setting on the enemy's anti-aircraft weapon looking like she was shooting down airplanes -- mainly ours. I lost friends in Viet Nam and almost lost my own life. But I feel that we committed treason by aiding and abeting the enemy during time of war. And you right she does have her opinion about the war, but she went beyond that point.

Not just there but in others things. She tried to force her way onto Ft Hood when I was stationed there. But they barred her from entry which was the correct thing to do. It one thing to openly protest but it's another thing to go to the level she went to and the men's expense and their moral.

Think about that for a while. You'll think different, I bet.

I did not support Desert Storm, because I knew they would not finish the job. Not the soldiers, but the political types that were running the show. And they didn't. The thorn is still in the middle east.

But I never attempted to disrupt and aid and abet the enemy, either. Jane Fonda did.
