I was drafted into the Army, served in the infantry in Nam and spent two years in the hospital recovering from my injuries. Although I don't believe we should have been there, like most American servicemen there including our POW's, I did what my country (i.e., the citizens) asked of me. I also have no problem with anyone who disagreed with the war. However, I hope that most people have the ability to distinguish between peaceful protesters (and perhaps even unpeaceful ones) and someone who purposely took actions that led directly to the deaths of American POWs. One does not have to be a jingoistic American or agree with that war to revile someone who directly abetted in the murder of helpless POWs. http://www.sightings.com/general2/100.htm
