Cowards don't protest. Martial law recognizes mitigating circumstances justifying disobedience. The war in Vietnam was such a circumstance.
The thousands, even millions who protested the war in Vietnam, risking civil disobedience and, in the example of John Lennon, suffering murder, are the only US heros to come out of that war.
Anyone failing to recognize this is a menace to the global community. This may sound shrill, but the pain and suffering inflicted on the Vietnamese indicates nothing but. Arthur Toegemann (p)(c) 2003
