My father was also there, and worst thing about it is my aunt and uncle were protesting the war openly. There is nothing more disturbing than to find out that part of your own family didn't support your father or the cuase. Unfortunatly my father died when I was six, and I never got a chance to talk to him about the horrors that he witnessed. But when he came home, to have people calling you harsh names and spitting on you is disgraceful. Words cannot express how proud I am of my father. Veterns still deserve the recognition of the nation. For those Veterns that do read this, I may not have ever been there, but I consider all of you part of my family. I will always respect all of you. God Bless. Owen
