It's been 6 years since filing my Vietnam PTSD claim. I tried unsuccessfully to personally handle my demons before seeking counseling and filing my claim. Encountering unbelievable government incompetency in this marathon, I believe very few 'Nam vets will have deserved closure on their compensation claims.These delaying tactics have made two of my comrades casualties in this Vietnam Claims War. The message I get brother is, as our government delays settlement of 'Nam claims, the Grim Reaper steps in and saves Uncle the expense. What a helluva way to balance the budget for the country we fought for. As a 'Nam vet, I feel our fight continues and the enemy is still among us!
