I would like to know what the Vietnam War had to do with morals or integrity? The US went into Vietnam the same time they were in Korea. The main objective was to stop communism. So just because we have different political views that means that we go to another country and bomb the heck out of the INNOCENT civilians living there? Now as far as the "elite" shirking their duties I believe that we have many politicians in office today whose rich daddies paid to keep their sons out of Vietnam, those sons were not the ones dying in the streets of America to stop the war.
