I am very sorry for what you went through in Vietnam. I am also ashamed that our country did not take better responsibility for the children that our soldiers fathered. It is truly a tragedy that amerasians were so mistreated by the Vietcong, but I don't think it is fair of you to blame this woman exclusively for what happened to you. She seems to be genuinely repenetant, and I admire her courage to tell her obviously contoversial story, knowing that she would be criticized by many. I think that it is important for Americans such as myself to hear both sides of the story so we can truly understand the nature of the war. People can change, and this woman needs to be given the opportunity to "confess", as it were, and to share her story. Even if you don't like what she has to say, she does have the right to say it, as does every person in this country.
