Apparently socilism in rice paddies could lead to the end of the world

From Kristian Colvey, on Thu, 17 May 2001 04:16:06 GMT

Does anyone know what socialism means? It means governmental control of corprate bussiness and regulation of income, housing, and medical assistance. Now would you tell me, does this coincide with the term known as evil? Apparently to the US it means Satan and possibly Armaggeddon, at least where left-wing politics are concerned. Now to the point, why doesn't the US keep it's own self-interested nose out of other's bussiness? I mean, Vietnam is half way across the world, a small country in the former French Indochina. What effect could it's change in government have to do with the US, nothing would be the most correct answer. Do you know why Lyndon B Johnson, the presiding president of the time, Decided to escalate the war? He did it because North Vietnam in it's own defense blew up a small ship spying on them, now tell me what would you do if some one was spying on you? In this country one must remember that the penalty for spying is death. This Vietnam conquest was supposed to be a conquest. It was meant to serve as a moral booster for the US after the devastating loss in Korea and the even more devestating loss of life in WWII. Any way, why would any body want to end up half way around the world stuck in some rice paddie killing innocent people just because they have slanted ideas.
