I found your comments very enlightening. I don't know much about the atrocities committed by the NVN. It should be discussed. What I found best about your response was the tone. Evenhanded, informative and nonjudgmental. The whole war was one awful mess and no side was blameless. I don't believe calling soldiers "babykillers" or protesters "cowards" is anyway to learn from this war and I think your post conveys this best.
