I suppose this was what it was all about

Stumbled through here. 32 years ago I asked for combat duty out of country. I took NVA fire in the chest and fortunately for me I survived. No day goes by when I'm not reminded of that firefight by my physical state. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever suppose one day I'd be reading the enemy's words penned from my homeland. For which I fought. Deep in my heart I still consider *them* the enemy. Yet I suppose this BBS interaction and the right for *cong* to speak as freely as I can was what it was all about.
