Traitor Dog VC Sympathizers, and I'm one of 'em!

I don't know about the VC going away, they had a lot of
sympathizers over here amoungst the drug-addled younger set
and it really was kind of hip at the time. (a lot being more
than like 4 or 5 people).Do you remember the fantasy about
the Americong? Do you remember what J.Edgar Hoover said about
the so-called 'revolution': that they were in adventure movie
fantasyland (words to the effect). I always appreciated the
fact that I could be a Viet Cong sympathizer and not have to
worry about getting rounded up and sent away AND THEN I JOINED
THE ARMY! So I became a G.I. sympathizer. Chairborne!
    Smoking dope in the barracks (you could get away with it
      in those days IF you were careful) RE1, and then I went
      home....original MOS 11B1P (11Blip)
I think its really groovey that a former VC writes to this
commo thing...................................................
