I agree with Irony

I keep reading from "veterans" that they fought for our damn freedom in VN, and in the next breath they tell us protesters were the scum of the earth and should have been "sent to jail or shot." This was the mindset of many during the 1960s--"My Country Right or Wrong", "Love it or Leave It", blah, blah , blah. Well, protesters loved their country too and we were more willing to listen to other people's views without threatening to shoot them.
