They Didnt understand why!

Hippies had no clue why the Vietnam War was happening. It was a civil war and they thought that the US had no right to try and police or peace keep that countrie. Our men were over there dying, and for what? They had no clue. They resisted the draft over 1000 young men were inprisoned aand still are for resisting the draft. Hippies were against the war because they just didnt understand why. They were rebelliouse against the gvernment because they hated it, they also didnt understand the government. The Vietnam War was a war for nothing.
