Montagnards

War us unforgiving

From David Cotlow, on Tue, 18 Jun 2002 05:29:33 GMT (in response to: THE AMERICAN ARE RAPIST)

I was a commander of a unit of soldiers in Vietnam in 69 and 70. As an American there were acts on both sides that were totally wrong. War is hell but at times it went beyond that. I would never condone actions in my unit outside the limits of war. All I can say is none of these wrongs on either side made anything right. War is hell and people do act outside the limits of being civil. There is no right in war. ex 1/Lt. David Cotlow
