How dare you sit in judgement of ME? You sanctimonious cretin, it was your country that insisted on having Americans travel half way around the world to die, for you sorry excuse for a human being, to come forward in MY COUNTRY, while enjoying the freedoms I FOUGHT for, and cast aspersions on MY character. You are doubtless part of the academic bleeding heart crowd trying to find a villian behind every corner. I spent two tours in that wasted landscape and NEVER EVER raped or even had social contact with a Vietnamese woman other than the ladies who cleaned the barracks FOR AMERICAN MPC that they bartered freely on Vietnamese black markets. These "young girls" you sanctify were in bars by the thousands and it wasn't AMERICANS who forced them to be there. Many of these same "young girls" set satchel charges, claymores, and grenades for us interlopers. I lost a very good friend, a helicopter pilot, who had a "young girl" toss a grenade in his chopper while he was delivering pigs and chickens to a Vietnames village. I visited Montagnard and Hmong camps were the village leaders were hung and disemboweled by VIETNAMESE to "teach them a lesson". Thanks to the liberal media in this country you hear about Me Lai and a few other hamlets, but there's never a mention of those unnamed villages where VIETNAMESE slaughtered their own countrymen like animals. Your remarks closely parrot those of Pearl Buck who never met an Amerasian she couldn't pity for the "doleful Americans who had raped their mother". Such diatribe tells me one of 3 things about you: (1) You were too young to remember the truth or weren't even there, (2) You were brainwashed or chose to ignore fact when good fiction looks so much better in print, or (3) You're an ignorant bigot who likes bashing America. Now pick a number.
I am sickened by you and those of your ilk. You probably have your words copyrighted, but considering the rampant disregard of copyrighting in South East Asia, I suppose you'd want to see reparations through OUR courts if anyone infringed on them. Why haven't you written these same comments about the French? They were there before we came and from what I saw on Tu Do Street, I KNOW they fathered children and left them. What about the Chinese? Oh, I forgot, they are your pals and if you had the testicular fortitude to challenge them openly, you might end up like those on Tiannamen Square. I guess you picked the safest place to peddle your tripe. There's bound to be some other bleeding heart, with those same 3 qualifications, who'll applaud you.
