Dear Sir:
I just read your recent posting about your experience with the M'Nong and the Cham.
Your story reminded me very much of some of my grandfather's experiences in China during the Second World War. He was actually able to see how the Inner Mongolian people lived at a time before Mao put an end to their independent way of life, and this reminds me in some ways of the accounts of Hmong life in pre-war Laos that I've heard in my volunteer work experience.
I'd like to thank you for sharing your account, as I appreciate all insights into the lifeways that were still independent just one generation before my time. I also appreciate guidance on how I can aid positively in its continuance.
Thanks again for your anecdote,
Robert Hayden
