Montagnards

Support your position

From John Skoufis, on Sun, 16 Nov 1997 00:50:24 GMT (in response to: The Forgotten Few)

As a Marine veteran serving in Vietnam in 1964, I had early contact with these mountain people. I grew close to them and admired their ideals, honesty and integrity.

They helped me survive and find a purpose for my efforts. I was horrified that these simple people were persecuted, hunted, and killed by both North and South Vietnamese.

We have done little to reward their loyalty and sacrifice. The Montagnards are the forgotton victims of this war. It is with great sorrow that the U.S. has chosen to deny support for these, our most loyal allies.
